Natalie tends to be quite, um, dramatic when she gets hurt. Sometimes after the pain subsides and she’s calmed down, she’ll see a scrape or a little blood and start screaming hysterically again. So, I always try to avoid letting her see the injury if at all possible.
Today, Natalie came over to me, not quite crying, but very upset saying she needed a bandaid.
I looked at her knee and said, “sweetie, that’s just peanut butter.”
All better!!
The future is here: I’ve installed WordPress on my phone, so I don’t have to sit at the computer to post!! While this may lead to posts with more grammatical errors, I’m hoping it will allow me to post more often and more easily.
I still have some major catch up to do, ie pictures from major holidays taken with our real camera and posts that require more typing than is feasible on my phone. But I take so many pics with the phone nowadays and we are on the go so much that the blog has taken a major backseat. And I want to make an effort to post more often. Not just to please the grandparents, but to capture these fleeting moments in our lives. I try as much as possible to live in the moment, but I know as time goes on, we cannot rely on our memories alone to recall all the cute things our kids do, or all the fun things we get to do with our family and friends.
So, here I am. Making more of an effort.
Flower power with grandma
There is nothing epic happening in this photo. Just a happy moment. Sisters, in flower headbands, delighting in their reflections with their grandma. So sweet.
