We had an amazing day with Jodi and Jay visiting downtown Princeton and New Hope, PA. It was sunny and in the 70’s, quite warm for March. After a cold winter with lots of snow, we were all eager to spend the day outside walking through towns, people-watching, and perusing the shops. Miranda was happy to sleep in the mei tai the whole time we walked through both towns, but was quite miserable traveling in the car. We’ve since switched her into the convertible car seat (as opposed to the bucket) and she seems happier.
Jodi, Amy & Miranda You can see Miranda’s head sticking up out of the mei tai. I’m a babywearing mama thanks to Jodi!!

Natalie was cooperative all day despite lots of walking, no nap, and a late dinner. On the way to dinner (around 7:30 pm) she started to get a little cranky and we feared a meltdown in the restaurant. But she’s such a trooper that waited patiently in her chair for her pasta, then ate it by herself with no issues whatsoever. With a little energy from eating, she entertained the adults by dancing to the music playing overhead. She even went to bed without protest once we got home.

Glad to hear that switching car seats is helping! Nothing worse than a baby screaming nonstop in the car…
Natalie gets more beautiful every day!
Thanks, Jessica!! Yes, the new seat seems to be better. We are venturing to CT this weekend which will be the real test. Hopefully we won’t regret taking the trip!
I check Ryan’s blog often…no pressure, but I’d love to read an update and see some pics!! xoxo
