Natalie: “Mommy, I want some sfair tackers!”*
Me: “Sorry, honey, we’re all out of square crackers. We have to buy more from the store.”
Natalie: “Daddy, put you coat on!!!!!!”
So Chris put his coat on, went out and bought Natalie some crackers.
Chris: “Look, honey, I got you some square crackers and some round crackers.”**
Me: “Natalie, which ones do you like better? Square crackers or round crackers?”
Natalie: “Sfair tackers and round tackers all together!!!”
I guess it’s a tie.
*Square crackers = Saltines
**Round crackers = Ritz
Kudos to Chris for being such a generous father. We tend to say no and deal with the tantrum for the next twenty minutes.
Btw, is everyone healthy?
Natalie’s been on a bit of a hunger strike lately, so we were so happy to have her show interest in food that we were willing to cater to her. She’s had a fever all weekend (between 101-102) and 99.5 this morning….we have an appointment at the doctor at 3 pm. I’ll let you know the verdict.
I was waiting for a punchline after she told Chris to grab his coat.
