Swing swing swing
Natalie is having a great time with the swing we (by “we” I mean Chris and Grandpa Smoky) hung from the maple tree in our backyard. Chris swings her too high and too fast for my taste, but Natalie loves the thrill of it!
Chris is very upset that none of these pictures are sharp. I keep telling him that blurry pictures indicate motion, no?
Lucky Sevens
On 7/7/07, Natalie turned 7 months-old! To celebrate we went to some fireworks, which Natalie really enjoyed. As you can see, she wasn’t scared at all!
Mama & Dada
Natalie started saying “Mama” last Tuesday, July 3. Since it seems clear (to more witnesses than just me!) that she definitely wants Mama when she says it, I’m counting it as her first word.
Tonight, Natalie looked right at Chris when he came through the front door and said “Dada.” She’s been saying “dada” when she babbles for a couple of months now, but tonight it had true meaning.
We couldn’t be more proud.
